Request/ignore translation
When navigating to the translation service, you'll be shown an overview per language of the parts of Booking Experts and the BEX CMS that have not been translated yet.
Next, you can see which parts have not been translated yet per language. By placing a tick mark at the various texts, you can make a selection of the parts you'd like to have translated.
When a translation is ordered, it will be sent to a translator. The moment the translation is sent back to the system, you will receive a notification. This translation is ready to be checked.
Translate automatically
It's possible to have texts translated automatically so that all text entered in Booking Experts and/or the BEX CMS will be sent to the translators directly.
To do this, you can switch the slide to the ON position.
Check translation
When a translation is sent back by a translator, you will receive a notification. From that moment, you will have 72 hours to assess the translation. If a translation is not assessed within this timeframe, it will be approved automatically.
Approving translation:
1. Go to the translation app;
2. In the submenu on the left, choose Assess translations;
3. Choose Approve to approve the translation. It will be placed in the system automatically.
If you would like to approve multiple translations at the same time, you can check the concerned translations and choose Approve selection.
Rejecting translation:
1. Go to the translation app;
2. In the submenu on the left, choose Assess translations;
3. Choose Reject to reject the translation.
4. Indicate what needs to be improved or changed. This will be sent as a message to the translator who will evaluate the translation once again.
Commenting on translation:
You can leave a message to the translator regarding a translation.
1. Go to the translation app;
2. In the left submenu, choose Assess translations;
3. Choose Comment to leave a message for the translator.
4. Leave your message in the comment field and click Save.
Search translation
Every translation which gets sent is given a unique 'Job number'. The translation can always be found by searching for this job number.
1. Go to the translation app.
2. In the left menu, choose Translations;
3. In the search field at the top right of the page, enter the Job Number and click Search.
Ordered translations
For each order placed, the translation requests will be sent to the right translator all at once per so called Batch. Per Batch, you can see how many words will be translated, as well as what the associated costs. The overview shows which Batches have been invoiced and which ones haven't yet.
1. Open the translation app.
2. In the left submenu, choose Ordered translations;
By clicking a Batch line, you can see which translations have been requested with this Batch.
Modify text
If you edit an existing text in Dutch, the changes will not be translated automatically. If you want to have the text translated again, you will have to delete the content for the languages to which you would like to have it translated.
1. Change the input language to the language of which you want to delete the content;
2. Open the content, empty it completely and click Save.
3. You can now order a translation again via the translation app.
