Media - Add video

It is possible to add a video to your website. You do this by placing a widget in the column where you want to show the video on your website. You can add a video in 3 different ways.

Add YouTube video

1. Click the green + sign where you want to add the YouTube video on the page. Then select the YouTube video widget from the widget list.
2. You can optionally give the video a (sub)title.
3. Enter the ID of the YouTube video. You can find this by looking at the YouTube URL and selecting the part after the https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=.
4. Choose the 'play automatically' option if you want the video to play by default when the page is opened.
5. Under show for locales, choose which languages you want the video to be visible in.
6. Click on 'Save'.

Add a Vimeo video

1. Click the green + sign where you want to add the Vimeo video on the page. Then select the Vimeo video widget from the widget list.
2. You can optionally give the video a (sub)title.
3. Enter the ID of the Vimeo video. You can find this by looking at the Vimeo URL and selecting the part after the https://vimeo.com/.
4. Choose the 'play automatically' option if you want the video to play by default when the page is opened.
5. Under show for languages, choose which languages you want the video to be visible in.
6. Click on 'Save'.

Add video to the header

1. Go to the CMS, click on 'Content' and then go to 'Videos'.
2. Add a new video by clicking 'New', give the video a name and place the URL (of the video from Vimeo) in the relevant line.
3. Save the video.
4. Next, in the CMS, go to 'Settings' and then 'Slideshows'.
5. Add a new slideshow by clicking 'New'. Then name the slideshow and select the desired video.
6. The slideshow is automatically always displayed. If you only want to show the slideshow for a certain period of time, you can uncheck 'Always' and add your own date.
7. Click 'Save' and the video will be shown in the header of the website.
