Media - Social media
If you want to use social media buttons on your website, you can add the links of the relevant accounts in the CMS. The following social media channels can be displayed: Twitter, Facebook, Pinterest, YouTube, LinkedIn, Instagram and TikTok.
- Go to settings in the CMS and go to 'Organisation settings'.
- Scroll down to 'Social media' and enter the link of your own social media account under social media channels.
- You can then place the social media buttons in the desired location on your website via a widget.

- You can add a social media widget to a page by pressing the green + sign in the column where you want the exposure. Then select the 'Social media' widget.
- Under 'Show for locales', select in which languages the widget will be visible.
- Then click 'Save' and press 'Preview' to see the result.

Tip: You can tick 'Monochrome' if you want the social media logos in one and the same colour.
Display Instagram feed
To display your organisations Instagram feed, SnapWidget can be used. Here, you can create a (free) account that can be linked to your Instagram account.
Next, there is the option to shape the feed and set it up as desired. When this step is complete, a code will be shared that can be loaded onto the website using the 'HTML embed code' widget in the CMS.
Sometimes you may need to re-authenticate the widget. Follow the steps below to authenticate the widget:
- Log in to your SnapWidget account.
- Within the dashboard, you will see which widget you need to authenticate.
- Click on 'Username' or the 'Re-Auth Widget' button.
- For Instagram, select 'Sign in with Instagram' or 'Sign in with Facebook' depending on your account type.
- Log in with your account and select the appropriate profile.
- Click on 'Update & Get Widget' to save.
Note: you don't need to replace the snippet code on the website.
