Holiday Media App

The Holiday Media App allows you to link Booking Experts to your website realised by Holiday Media. Holiday Media can retrieve a lot of information from Booking Experts, such as information on types, facilities, price lists, cost items and payment options.

Installing the app

To install the app, you need to have access to the App Store. A market stall will appear at the top of your Booking Experts menu bar in this case. If you don't have this yet, ask your organisation manager to turn on the App Store right.

Before installing the app, create a channel for Holiday Media. Click on the market stall icon for the App Store and then choose the Holiday Media app. After that, click + Install at the app. Here you'll see an overview of what the app can access in your administration(s).

Choose the administration(s) for which you want to install this app, choose the channel you created for Holiday Media to retrieve availability and prices and click Install. Once the connection is established, you will be redirected to Holiday Media's website, from where they will contact you.

Tips

Set up facilities at type level rather than object level.

• It is possible to link several administrations to 1 website. For more information, contact Holiday Media.
• Do you already have all the information concerning the types in Holiday Agent? Then there is no need to enter this information in Booking Experts as well. Only the name of the type and the facilities are then sufficient. However, do you also want to link with OTAs? Then it is WELL necessary to enter this data in Booking Experts.
• The Guest Environment can be integrated on the Holiday Media website. Please contact Holiday Media for this.
• Through Holiday Media it is possible to set up a property map so that the guest can make a preferred booking. This map is not set up in Booking Experts.
