Publication and de-publication date

In BEX CMS, you can apply a Publish and Depublish date to Blogs, Events, Facilities, Sales Objects, Types, Parks, Pages and all page widgets. This allows you to control when specific content is automatically visible on your website and when it is not.

Why is this useful?

  • Always keep your website up-to-date, without ever displaying outdated text on the site.
  • You don't have to update the website in the weekend or during your holidays.
  • You can plan content and work ahead.

How do you use it?

By default, today's date is included in the Publish date, so your page/widget is live immediately.

  • Hide page/widget? ➤ Do not enter any date in 'Publication date' or delete it.
  • Page/widget live from a certain date? ➤ Enter the desired date under 'Publication date'.
  • Disable page/widget from a certain date? ➤ Under 'Publish until', enter the date of the last day you want it to be visible.
  • Page/widget live for 1 day ➤ For 'Publish date' and 'Publish until', enter the same date. It will be automatically switched on and off overnight.
  • Leave page/widget live? ➤ Leave the 'Publish' dates taan and the 'Publish until' date empty. This way, the page/widget is always live.
