1. Installing the application

1. Click on the icon of the App Store;
2. There you choose the  CAT App;
3. At the application, click on Install;
4. Here you will see an overview of what the application can see in your administration(s);
5. Select the administration(s) for which this application is to be installed and click on  Instal;
6. The app is authorized. Click on OK to move on;
7. Under Commands, choose Settings;
8. Enter the URL you receive from CAT and save the settings.

Note! The URL you need here is an external IP address followed by an externally accessible port. Voorbeeld: http://141.136.125.130:15071

2. Create card types and products

1. Under Commands, choose Card Types and Products;
2. Click on Sync card types;
3. The card types will now be synchronized from CAT to the CAT app;

6. Click on + Add;
7. Enter the data;
  • Product name;
  • The administration for which the product is valid;
  • Quantity; Per stay, per person or per quantity purchased
  • Filters, if desired;
    - By accommodation label;
    - By type;
    - By cost items: by mandatory charges or by extras (cost items chosen by the guest)
  • If desired, any fixed start and end time of the cards;
  • If desired, check 'Wait for check-in';
This allows you to ensure that an exemption becomes active immediately at the time you check the guest in. If unchecked, the guest will only be granted access from the desired start time.
  • If desired, check 'Automatic check-in'.

This allows you to ensure that a reservation is checked in immediately when the license plate is registered at the barrier by the application.

  • If desired, check 'Send cards to guest'.

Add the product and repeat as desired.

12. FAQ - Frequently Asked Questions

How long is the card valid after the guest has checked out?

After the guest has checked out, the card will be valid for 30 minutes. This means that the guest has 30 minutes to drive past the gate. However, this works differently when the standard check-out time of an accommodation type is approaching. For example: the check-out time of an accommodation type is 11 am. At 10:45 am a guest shows up at reception to check out. This means the guest only has 15 minutes, instead of the standard 30 minutes, to drive past the gate.
