Subdomains
A website is on a 'domain'. Each language can be added as a subdomain. You can also choose to add 1 subdomain and link several languages to it.
Example 1: a separate subdomain for each language
English: www.park.com
Dutch: nl.park.com
German: de.park.com
French: fr.park.com
Example 2: 1 subdomain for all languages
www.park.com add these to the subdomain and then tick the desired languages. The desired languages can run on URL paths. This can be selected in the language settings in BEX CMS.
English: www.park.com
Dutch: www.park.com/en
German: www.park.com/de
French: www.park.com/fr
Add subdomain
To add a subdomain click on your already added domain and then click the +subdomain button.
Tick languages
Choose to add a subdomain for all languages, then tick one language and enter the desired domain prefix.
If you choose to add several languages on 1 subdomain, tick all desired languages and enter www as your prefix.
Brand
Choose the appropriate brand.
Directly live
Tick the box immediately live if you want the website to go live immediately.
Tip: Do not check the box immediately live if you still want to use the old website.
Domain redirect
If you want to redirect guests to another website, you can set this here.
