Media in Booking Experts
In Booking Experts it is possible to add media for your different types and rentals. This way, you can give your guests a clear image of which type or rental they want to book. In this article, more information about adding media in Booking Experts is given.
Adding images - type/rental
Images can be added on both type-level and rental-level. Through the tab media within the rental or type you can add images by clicking on the displayed media area. Moreover, you can drag images from the desktop to this displayed media area.
We advise you to add images with high resolutions, preferably those that are made with a good camera or by a photographer. This gives your website a more professional look.
After adding the images, you can also change the sequence of the images by dragging them. The images on the left side will be shown first, while the image at the right side will be shown last. And remember... the first impression is key! You want to start with the most captivating image.
Images can best be added with high resolutions. Booking Experts reduces the size of the images to a maximum of 2048px by 2048px.
How great it would it be that, while booking their Christmas vacation, guests can see photo's which exactly match that atmospheric Christmas feeling? Within Booking Experts, this is possible! That's because you can add both summer and winter photos for your types and rentals.

Images and integrations
The importance of high quality images doesn't stop with filling your own website. Adding the right images on type-level and rental-level is also very useful for the integrations with tour operators.
Most tour operators nowadays are full-content integrations. This means that all images and descriptions that you add in Booking Experts will be send to these channels. This could save you a lot time and energy!
Adding a YouTube video - type
Besides images, you can also add YouTube videos on the type-level. You can do this by adding the entire URL-link of the YouTube video to the designated area in Booking Experts. Would you like to add separate videos for the summer- and wintertime? Then you click on the tab summer or winter and add a new YouTube video here. Deleting the YouTube video is possible underneath the uploaded video.
If you add a YouTube video, this video will be shown at the rental description of the belonging type in the Search&Book.
Adding attachments - type
At the bottom of the page, you can also add attachments to a type. These attachments will then be added to the auto e-mails of the belonging type. For example, inventory lists, directions or house rules could be added on the type-level.
To add the attachments to the auto e-mail, you also need to turn on the send along attachment(s) of the type checkbox. This can be done while editing the auto e-mail, under the heading documents.
