API-key for channels
This article explains what an API-key is and where you can find the API- Key of a channel in the system.
Each channel has its own unique API-key. With this API-key, the channel can communicate with Booking Experts. For example, if you work with a channel that places reservations in your system, the channel can request this API-key from you. This will then create the connection with your administration in Booking Experts.
1. Use the gear icon in the upper right corner to navigate to Administration settings;
2. Select Channels in the right submenu;
3. If the channel has not yet been created, you can create a channel by clicking New. If the channel is already known, click the name of the channel;
4. Go to the Overview tab;
5. Provide the API-key to the channel.
