Footers
The footer of a website is often the last thing visitors see, but it is a crucial part. Not only does it provide important links and information, but it can also improve the overall user experience by providing consistency and ease of navigation. The footer can be set in BEX CMS at: 'Settings' > 'Footers'. The menu you want to put in the footer can be created at: 'Content' > 'Menus'.
Haven't you created a menu yet? You can do this yourself under: 'Content' > 'Menus'. This support article allows you to create menus for both the footer and the header.
Formatting the footer
Formatting the footer is divided into several categories, these are: appearance, contact information, extras, forms and bottom. The categories are explained further below.
Appearance
Under 'Appearance', you can define the background colour of the footer. In addition, you can also set a background transition here.
Contact info
Under the heading 'Contact info' it is possible to display the logo, or another image, in the footer. You can also choose not to show the contact information at all.
Do you have several addresses, e-mail addresses or telephone numbers? Then in 'Contact information' you can choose to show them using 'Own text'. You can type this out completely, so that all information is present in the footer.
Extras
Once you have entered the links of your social media accounts and possibly of your App in the 'Organization settings', you can display them in the footer. It is also possible to put a button in the footer. You can use this, for example, to link to the 'My account' page.
Form
Under 'Form' you determine the settings of the form to be shown in the footer. The newsletter is usually shown here, but you can also add an and
Bottom
If you want to display an extra menu under the footer, with the general terms and conditions or privacy policy, for example, you can add this under 'Menu at the bottom of the footer'. Optionally, you can change the 'Copyright notice' or add an image set here.
