Filtering in the Search & Book
In the Find & Book, several availability filters are possible. These filters allow users to filter accommodations by Amenity, budget and/or features.
Filter possibilities
Amenities filter:
Of the amenities created in Booking Experts, you can determine which amenities the website visitor may filter on in the Search & Book. Think of a shower, sauna, enclosed garden, etc.
Park amenities filter:
You can also allow website visitors to filter at the park level, by creating park Amenities, provided you have multiple Administrations.
Price range filter:
You can also add a filter related to budget, this way only Types within this budget will be shown.
Scheme attribute properties:
A filter can also be based on the properties of a type, for example the number of people.
Creating range filters
Click here to go to the availability filters in the BEX CMS. On this page, you can click the βNewβ button in the top right-hand corner. You will then see a dropdown with the different types of availability filters. Choose the desired filter, name it and save it.
Creating filter Amenities
Click here to go to the Amenity filter in the BEX CMS. On this page, you can click the βNewβ button at the top right. Then select the amenity to be filtered on and save it. You can add as many filter options to the Search and Book as you like. The filter options you have chosen will now appear on the website in the Search and Book. Based on the filters, visitors can refine their search on the website.
The amenities in the filter are automatically placed under the category you chose in Booking Experts under accommodation amenity groups. You can change the name of the category in Booking Experts. You can also change the order of the categories here. The same applies to the chosen park facility groups in Booking Experts. See this support article for more explanation.
