Statuses deposit

In this article, we explain what the different statuses of deposit mean.

Required

The deposit is required when not yet paid.

Satisfied

The deposit is satisfied when paid.

Released

The deposit is released when no damage reports have been made and the deposit may be refunded.

Blocked

The deposit is blocked when a damage report has been added. The lockout prevents the deposit from being automatically released.

Claimed

The deposit is claimed when one or more damage reports have been charged to the guest.

Partially claimed

The deposit has been partially claimed when one or more damage reports have been charged to the guest, with the amount claimed being less than the deposit amount. The remaining amount is released and added to the balance of the booking invoice.

Over-claimed

The deposit is overclaimed when one or more damage reports have been charged, with the amount claimed exceeding the deposit amount. The guest may have to pay extra.

Waived

The security deposit is waived when you no longer want to charge the guest the security deposit.
