Send and resend booking confirmation

When the reservation is created in the system, it is immediately displayed that it still needs to be confirmed. You confirm the reservation by clicking on Confirm and send invoice if you work with invoicing on confirmation. If you work with invoicing on departure, click the Confirm button.

Send by e-mail or manually

For booking confirmations and other information e-mails, you have the option of sending them by e-mail or manually. If you choose to send it by e-mail, the guest will receive it on their e-mail account. You can also choose to send β€˜manually’. The guest will then not receive this. This can be useful, for example, when Guests at the counter want something changed on their invoice and an Costs item on the invoice needs to be added or removed. Manually sending an invoice is only logged when clicking Download. The download button is useful to use when you want to print the booking confirmation for the guest.

Actions

Within Reservation, we keep all kinds of data, including how the booking confirmation was sent. If something was sent by e-mail, this is shown on the right-hand side under Actions. If this was done manually, you will not see anything under the last actions. This is because the system does not know whether you actually printed the booking confirmation with invoice and posted it.

Resend booking confirmation

To resend a booking confirmation, open the reservation and click the More button under the heading Reservation. Then click the Resend booking confirmation button.
