Licence plate recognition and access control
In the App Store in Booking Experts, there are several apps for access control. We know of apps that let you link systems for license plate recognition and systems that let you control access control to properties.
To work with license plate recognition, you need the number plate module.

License plate recognition
When an organisation works with the License Plate Module, you must indicate per type how many parking spaces the underlying objects have. The number of parking spaces you enter for the type then corresponds to the number of license plates the guest can enter in the My environment. Via the template Request to enter license plate numbers, you ask the guest to enter the license plate number. This template is sent after the booking is made and if the guest has not entered the license plate number two days before arrival, the guest receives a reminder.
Enter license plates at reservation
Online reservation
When a guest has made a reservation via the website, they are given the opportunity to enter their license plates. If they fail to do so, they will receive an e-mail 2 days before arrival requesting them to do so before arrival. The license plate can then be entered via the MyEnvironment.
Backoffice reservation
When you as an organisation make a reservation for the guest via the backoffice, you have to enter the license plate data yourself. You enter these by clicking on the car icon in the reservation.
If you do not enter these details at the time of booking, the guest will receive an e-mail 2 days before arrival to provide these details. The guest can also enter these details via the MyEnvironment.
Backoffice group booking
The main booker receives the emails (templates) to enter the license plates. It can also happen that this does not happen. You then want to enter the license plates of the underlying bookers in the back office. First click on the underlying booking for which you want to enter the license plates. Then click on the car icon to enter the license plate. Do you want to do this for several bookings? Then repeat the steps.
Access control
Access control does not require a separate module in Booking Experts. Download the app from the App Store to set up the link. If the app uses templates to inform the guest about an access code, for example, these templates are created under application message templates.
