Are you working with Schranken.de or planning to? Then read this support article in which we explain to you exactly how the Schranken.de App link works and how you can set it up yourself.
Note! You always need a working Internet connection to use the automatic barrier. If the Internet of the computer on which Schranken.de is installed does not work, then the automatic barrier does not work either!
Here's how the integration works
Once you set up the link, the license plates are scanned by the Schranken.de system. By setting the URL correctly in Schranken.de's system, the license plates are transmitted to Booking Experts. Booking Experts then makes the decision whether or not to open the barrier.
Installing the app in Booking Experts
To install the app, you need to have access to the App Store. You'll see a market stall at the top of your Booking Experts menu bar in this case. If you don't have this, ask your organization manager for App Store permissions.
Click on the market stall icon for the App Store and then choose the Schranken.de app.
After that, click Install at the app. Here you will see an overview of what the app can access in your administration(s). Choose the administration(s) for which to install this app and click Install.
The app is authorized. Click OK to continue.
Make sure the license plate module is on for your park. Without this module, the Schranken.de App will not work.
Settings in the Schranken.de software
You also need to add some settings in the Schranken.de software. To do this, go via Konfiguration to Kameras.
Next, in the URL for Berechtigungs-Anfragen box, enter a URL you find in the Schranken.de App in Booking Experts under the heading Settings. Copy and paste this URL into your Schranken.de software and click Speichern und aktivieren.
Synchronization in the Booking Experts App store
After you have both installed the app in Booking Experts and applied the settings in the Schranken.de software, open the app in the Booking Experts App store. Click on Synchronize. All license plates already known in Booking Experts will be retrieved and then made available in the Schranken.de app. When this is successful, you will see the list of license plates appear under the Cards heading.
Add cards manually
You also have the option of adding cards manually. These might include license plates that were not yet in the reservation, or those that you want them to have access to at all times; staff, facility services, but also, for example, government services such as the fire department or police. To add these cards, go to Cards in the menu, and click on + Card.
Choose your administration and choose how long this card is valid. For staff, of course, it is convenient to set the validity a little longer so that you do not have to renew the validity of the card every so often.
Add cards manually on reservation
When you open the reservation, you can use the 'Apps' button in the cards to view the reservation in the Schranken.de app. Is there no card created for any reason? Then click on + Card and add the validity and license plate. This way you have immediately entered the correct reference data. Also, this way the system itself adds the correct validity period.
Add cards manually on owner card
Do you have an owner who stays at the park more than once? Then you can add a card via the owners card. To do this, go to the owner in question and click on 'Apps' to the right of the owner's name. You will then see if any cards have been created for this owner. Is this not the case? Then click on + Card and add the validity and license plate. This way you will immediately have the correct reference data at hand. It is currently only possible to add an owner card manually, it does not happen automatically.
Does the barrier not open at a license plate where you expect it to?
Check if the license plate is in the overview. You can search for the license plate in the box 'Enter search term'. Is the license plate not in the overview? Then add it using + Card.
Is the license plate in the overview, but does the barrier not open automatically? Check the validity of the card. It may be that the guest wants to drive through earlier than you allow. In this case the check-in times you use as administration are taken into account.
Manually opening the barrier is done in the Schranken.de software itself. All this integration does is automatically open the barrier based on a reservation OR automatically open the barrier based on license plates you manually add in the Schranken.de app that you want them to have access to at all times.
