Color Schemes
Manage the color schemes used on the site here. A color scheme can be applied to a section of the page, such as the header, footer, or a specific section. If nothing is set, the default color scheme will be used. A color scheme is tied to a theme. Per theme, one color scheme can be set as the default.
Tip! Ensure that your colors don't differ too much to maintain unity across the website. Avoid using various button colors; instead, choose one primary color and one secondary color.
Tips for setting the color schemes:
- Brand identity: Make sure the colors you choose align with your brand identity. Use colors from your logo or branding to maintain consistency. This helps make your brand recognizable to visitors.
- Contrast and readability: It's essential that there's enough contrast between text and background to ensure the content is easy to read. Too little contrast can reduce readability, especially for people with visual impairments.
- User experience (UX): Think about the usability of the colors. Do they assist with navigating the website? Use an eye-catching color for key buttons (call-to-actions) so users know intuitively where to click.
- Color psychology: Colors evoke emotions. Blue stands for trust, green for nature, and red for action and urgency. Choose colors that align with your brandβs message.
