FAQ ICY
How is it possible that the amperage was not increased after modifying the reservation?
Do you feel that the amperage is not increased after submitting the change? If so, press the Synchronise button in ICY.
Is the power off by default?
No, the default product works even without check-in. This means that if you set the default amperage to 6, there will be 6 amperes of power at the specified locations even without check-in. You set this standard product in ICY, and then specify the standard amperage in Booking Experts in ICY's app. You do this in ICY's app under the ‘Settings’ button. You can enter this at the bottom of the page.
Why doesn't the power switch off at the specified check-out time?
As described above, the default amperage you specify in ICY is always on, even when a booking has not yet checked in. When a booking checks out, the meter resets to the default amperage. So the power never switches off completely.
Why is the power not immediately increased after adding extra amperage?
When you have added the extra amperage in Booking Experts and you have linked the relevant charge in ICY as a product, it is immediately transferred to ICY. However, it may take some time for the extra amperage to work. Are you experiencing problems with this? If so, please contact ICY support.
How often are meter readings collected on behalf of ICY?
By default, ICY ensures that this happens once a day at noon. If you want this to happen earlier or later, you can contact ICY at icycc@icy.nl.
How can I automatically retrieve the meter readings in Booking Experts?
In the meter reading module, you can select the electricity meter and a measurement date. Once you do that, you will get a button in the list that says ‘Auto-fill’. All places will then connect to the ICY database and the meters will be filled in: It is important that you have ICY meters, otherwise you won't be able to retrieve the meter readings automatically.
