Nedap (MOOV) Gateway link

Within the link with Nedap (MOOV), there are several ways how you can work:

• With printed, paper cards;
• With fixed, plastic cards;
• With license plate recognition.

The initial setting of the link is the same for all 3 ways.

In order to establish the link with the Nedap (MOOV) system, you first have to use the 'access control' module. If your organization does not have this module switched on yet, please contact support.

1. Go to Access;
2. In the right submenu, choose Gateway systems;
3. Click the new button and choose Nedap MOOV gateway system;
4. You will then be asked to enter a URL, Username, Password and Database name. These you can request at Nedap.
5. Click Add gateway systemto save the data.

Next, it is important to create the different cards in Booking Experts as they are in the Nedap (MOOV) system, such as swimming pool tickets, fixed/paper access cards or cards based on registration numbers.

1. In the right submenu, choose Card types;
2. Click the new button and introduce the details:
   1. Name;
   2. Optionally, edit the start and end time of the card.
3. Click on Add card type to save.

In order to edit a card type, you can click Edit next to the respective card.

After generating cards, it's important to create different rules for the cards. With these rules you can make sure that the right access cards are generated for all accommodations behind access gate 1.

1. In the right submenu, choose Automatic generation;
2. Click the button New card rule and introduce the details:
   1. Choose the card type for which you want to create the rule;
   2. Choose the identification method for this rule;
   3. Optionally, click Put all card numbers on one card to create all card numbers on 1 card per reservation;
   4. Choose whether the rule needs to be applied by means of expenses; if so, you'll need to provide the respective expense account;
   5. Choose whether the rule needs to be applied to all reservations and choose how many times it needs to be generated:
      1. Individually.
      2. Per person; choose the groups of guests for which this card needs to be generated;
      3. Per stay;
      4. Choose whether the rule applies to all types, a specific type or for a specific type of group;
   6. Click on Add card rule to save.

Click on Edit at the desired rule in order to edit the access card rule.

Click on Remove at the desired rule in order to remove the access card rule.

Sometimes you might want to add an extra card to a reservation, for example because the client has guest for a few nights. The guest can also access the park by car, in consultation with the organization. You'll want to add these details to the specific reservation in Booking Experts, in case the card gets lost or malfunctions.

1. Go to the respective reservation;
2. At the access cards, click on:
   1. No cards if no cards have been generated for the reservation yet;
   2. 1 card (or the amount of active cards) if cards have already been generated;
3. Choose NEDAP MOOV #xxx;

1. Choose Create access cards;
2. Choose the type of card;
3. Choose the identification method;
4. Choose one of the following two possibilities:
   1. Generate new card numbers is to be used if you're working with printed cards and the system is allowed to generate a card number; provide the amount of cards you want to generate here;
   2. I want to provide the card numbers is to be used if you're using existing cards, which you introduce with a scanner. Click on the input field and scan the (various) card(s) that you wish to generate;
5. Tick Put all card numbers on one card to merge all card numbers;
6. Introduce the term of validity for the card;
7. Click on Add access cards to save.

When dealing with owners, it's possible that they want to freely enter the park to use the swimming pool. You'll want to add these details to the specific reservation in Booking Experts, in case the card gets lost or malfunctions.

1. Go the respective owner;
2. At the access cards, click on:
   1. No cards if no cards have been generated for the reservation yet;
   2. 1 card (or the amount of active cards) if cards have already been generated;
3. Choose Nedap MOOV #xxx;
4. Choose Create access cards;
5. Choose the type of card;
6. Choose the identification method;
7. Choose one of the two following possibilities:
   1. Generate new card numbers is to be used if you're working with printed cards and the system is allowed to generate a card number; provide the amount of cards you want to generate here;
   2. I want to provide the card numbers is to be used if you're using existing cards, which you introduce with a scanner. Click on the input field and scan the (various) card(s) that you wish to generate;
8. Introduce the term of validity for the card;
9. Click on Add access cards to save.

There are two different ways to work with the Nedap MOOV link. Two of these have been explained already, the third one is to work with license number recognition.

In order to work with license number recognition, you'll need the License plates module. If your organization doesn't have this module yet, please contact support.

Next, you'll need to create the different card types in Booking Experts, the same way that they're in the Nedap MOOV system, based on license number. You can read here how to create or edit card types.

Within the link with Nedap MOOV (V2), we provide the possibility to automatically create access cards for a reservation on the day on arrival. For this to happen, the arrival date needs to correspond with today's date and the reservation needs to be confirmed.

Please note! The reservation should not be checked in and it can take up to 10 minutes after creating the reservation to generate the cards.

If you wish to use this possibility, you'll have to use the following setting for the access gate system:

1. Go to the tab Access;
2. In the right submenu, choose Access systems;
3. Click on the access gate to edit;
4. Select Automatically create access cards on check in date;
5. Fill out the External identification for the different types of identifications;
6. Click on Save access system to save.

Within the link with Nedap MOOV (V2), we provide the possibility to directly check in at license number registration. For this to happen, the arrival date needs to correspond with today's date and the reservation has to be payed in full. This way, there's no way that a not fully payed reservation checks in, guests are able to drive tru the gate dispatite not having paid. 

If you wish to use this possibility, you'll have to use the following setting for the access gate system:

1. Go to the tab Access cards;
2. In the right submenu, choose Access systems;
3. Click on the access gate to edit;
4. Select Automatically create access cards on check in date;
5. Fill out the External identification for the different types of identifications;
6. Click on Save access system ;to save.

Do you want to register multiple license plates on one card, but the guest or owner may only be present at the holiday park with one car at a time? This can be set at Nedap by means of 'Anti Passback'. Only one car per card can enter the park. Is a second car coming? Then the card freezes and the second car cannot enter. If you request this from Nedap, they can further prepare the settings.
