Refundable and non-refundable rates

It is possible to work with different prices for different channels. An example of this is a higher price when you allow the guest to cancel within a certain period. These are refundable rates.

We speak of non-refundable rate when you offer the guest a lower rate if they forfeit their right to cancel. This will not be refunded in case of a cancellation.

You can attach different conditions to each rate plan. When a reservation is made using a certain rate plan, these conditions are transferred to the Booking Experts reservation. This way, you can apply a stricter cancellation policy when you offer your guests a lower rate.

Channels that work with different rates

In Booking Experts, we can link different rates to different channels:

  • Booking.com;
  • Expedia.

How are the different rate plans linked?

In the link with the channel, we set up the rate plans per accommodation type.

This way, you can indicate which accommodations can, and cannot be linked to a certain rate.

Within this link, it is only possible to increase or decrease the price by a percentage. It is not possible to charge a set price per night.
