Pets allowed/not allowed
In this article you will find more information about the allowance of pets in your types and rentals. You can decide per rental whether you want to allow pets or not and per type how many pets you want to allow.
Allow pets - rental
You have to indicate for each rental whether or not pets are allowed. You can do this in the setup tab of the object in question. You can choose to edit the existing setup by clicking on the date in bold below "active from", or to create a new setup by clicking on the button +new layout. You will then immediately see the pets allowed checkbox at the top.
By creating a new setup, you can see exactly when changes were made. In addition, you can always view the old setup and appointments that were made.
Allowing pets is not determined by means of facilities, but it is convenient to create a facility for the allowance of pets. By creating this facility, you can add the "pets allowed" filter in the Search & Book. This allows guests to filter the rentals in which pets are allowed immediately when booking.
Amount of pets - type
On the type level you can determine how many pets are allowed. You can do this by editing the type via the types submenu. Do you have a number of objects of the same type where pets are allowed and a number of objects where pets are not allowed? Then always enter the number of allowed pets for the objects where pets are allowed. You can then indicate per object whether pets are allowed or not.
If you check the pets allowed box on a rental level, but set the number of pets allowed on the type level to 0, the pets can still not be added to the reservation. The same applies the other way around: if you allow 2 pets on type level, but then do not check the pets allowed box on object level, it is still not possible to add pets to the booking.
If you want to check quickly for which objects you have ticked the pets allowed checkbox, you can apply the "pets allowed" filter in the rentals submenu. You will then get an overview of all rentals in which pets are allowed.
