Email addresses
Adding e-mail addresses
You can manually add e-mail addresses to your mailing list, for example e-mail addresses you collected during a trade show. You do this as follows:
- In the left menu, choose 'Email campaigns' and then choose 'Email addresses'.
- Click on the 'Add' button.
- Next, enter the e-mail addresses. Enter each address on a new line.
- Choose the language in which the e-mail addresses should be addressed.
- Choose an existing tag or type the name of a new tag to add it.
Tip: You can add multiple tags to e-mail addresses. Tags are useful for targeting or excluding a specific group from your mailing list. For example, you don't want to send a newsletter urging guests to stay during Easter to guests who have already booked for that period.
- Click on 'Save'.
The e-mail addresses have now been added to your mailing list.
Importing e-mail addresses from CSV file
Adding e-mail addresses as described above only works when all addresses have the same language and tags. Want to add e-mail addresses with different languages and tags? Import these addresses from a CSV file. This way, you add e-mail addresses with different languages and tags in one go.
- In the left-hand menu, choose 'Email campaigns' and click 'Email addresses'.
- First, export your existing e-mail addresses so that you have the correct CSV file.
- Under 'Export to CVS', select the format that applies to you.
- Open the downloaded file (often at 'Downloads' on your computer);
- Remove all existing e-mail addresses and add the new e-mail addresses you want to import into the cms.
- Under 'Languages and tags', add the brackets "..." the appropriate languages and tags. Place a comma between the languages and tags if you want to add more than one.
- Then export the file to CSV and save the file.
- Return to the CMS and click 'Import' and add the new CSV file.
- Select the CSV format you just downloaded and select a language. Here, it doesn't matter which language you select. The language tags in the CSV file are leading.
- Click on save.
Now the e-mail addresses from the CSV file are in the mailing list with the correct language and tags.

Delete e-mail addresses
You can delete e-mail addresses you no longer want to use. This can be done per e-mail address, but also per group of e-mail addresses with the same tag.
- In the left menu, choose 'E-mail campaigns' and click 'E-mail addresses'.
- Select the e-mail addresses you want to remove (via the search field or the tags).
- Click 'Remove' to remove the e-mail addresses from your mailing list.
Blacklist
Is an e-mail campaign not delivered to an e-mail address? Then this e-mail address disappears from the mailing list and enters the blacklist. This means e-mail campaigns will no longer be sent to these e-mail addresses. This happens automatically and you don't have to do anything else.
E-mail sources
Through e-mail sources, e-mail addresses are automatically added to the system when guests tick, for example, receiving newsletters while making a reservation.
