Add email addresses

You can add email addresses to the mailing list manually. For instance, consider email addresses you've collected during a fair.

1. In the left menu, choose email campaigns;
2. Next, choose email addresses;
3. Click on the button add;

4. Enter the email addresses (one email address per line);
5. Choose the language of the email addresses;
6. Choose an existing tag or type the name of a new tag to add it;

Info: you can add multiple tags to email addresses. Tags are useful to include or exclude a specific group from your mailing list.

7. Click save.

The email addresses are now added to your mailing list.

Add email addresses from CSV file

Adding the email addresses manually, as described above, only works if all addresses have the same language and tags. However, when the email addresses have different languages and tags, you can import the addresses from a CSV file. In this way you can add email addresses with different languages and tags in one go.

1. Click in the left menu on e mail campaigns;
2. Then select email addresses;
3. Export existing email addresses so that you have the correct CSV file;
4. Select the format that applies to you;

5. Open the downloaded file (often under downloads on your computer);
6. Delete all existing email addresses and add the new email addresses;
7. With languages and tags leave the the brackets "..." around the language and tag and replace it with the right languages and tags;
8. Place a comma between the languages and tags when you want to add more;

9. Export the file to CSV;

Pay attention: in this article the program Numbers is used, it may work differently for you.

10. Save the CSV file somewhere on your computer;
11. Return to CMS and click in the top right on import;

12. Click on from file or add a file to import the email addresses from the CSV file;
13. Select the CSV format that you have just downloaded;
14. Select the preferred language;
15. Click on the bottom right on save.

Now the email addresses from the CSV file are in the list of addresses with the right language and tags.

Export email addresses to CSV file

You can export the email addresses in the CMS to your computer.

1. In the left menu, select email campaigns;
2. Next, select email addresses;
3. Select the email addresses you want to export (through the search field or the tags);
4. Click export to CSV to export the email addresses.

Change tag email addresses

You can change the tag of an email address:

1. In the left menu, select email campaigns;
2. Next, select email addresses;
3. Select the email address that you want to change the tag for;

Info: you can easily find the correct email address through the search field.

4. Click edit tags to change the tag of the email address;

5. Add the new tags at tags to add;
6. Add the old tags at tags to remove;
7. Click save.

Change language email addresses

You can change the language of an email address:

1. In the left menu, select email campaigns;
2. Next, select email addresses;
3. Select the email address that you want to change the language for;

Info: you can easily find the correct email address through the search field.

4. Click edit language to change the language of the email address;

5. Choose the new language;
6. Click save.

Delete email addresses

You can delete email addresses that you no longer wish to use. This can be done for a single email address or a group of email addresses that share the same tag.

1. In the left menu, select email campaigns;
2. Next, select email addresses;
3. Select the email addresses you want to delete (through the search field or the tags);
4. Click remove to delete the email address from your mailing list.

Blacklist

If, upon sending a mailing, it can't be delivered to an email address, this address disappears from the list of email addresses. It will be transferred to the blacklist. This means it can no longer be mailed to. This will happen automatically and does not require further action.
