Search & book - Promotions

A promotion can be used to realize a discount on for example accommodation; this can only be used by a visitor in possession of the promotion link.

To make use of the promotions, you first need to create a coupon needs in Booking Experts; you can find out how this works here.

Follow the following steps to activate the promotion in the CMS:

1. Go to the organization;

2. In the menu, navigate to Find & book;

3. Click on Promotions;

4. Name the promotion in the CMS;

5. Enter the coupon code, which was created in Booking Experts, and make sure it is an exact match;

6. Then choose the landing page that matches the promotion; it is recommended to create a new landing page for the promotion;

7. Save the promotion.

After the promotion has been saved in the CMS, the promotion link will be visible. When a visitor opens this link, he/she will be sent to the landing page. The discount offer and/or the arrangement that is linked to the coupon with the matching code, in Booking Experts, will be applied to the next new booking. This means that it will not be applied to an open booking.

NOTE: A coupon code is set at a park level, this means that for each park within an organization, one coupon has to be created in Booking Experts with the same name. Conversely, the promotion is set at organizational level.
