SmartHotel's SmartCONNECT App gives you the ability to connect Booking Experts to various external systems. In this article we will explain how you can install it for your own administration(s).
Before you can connect with SmartHotel you need to contact their
sales team, with whom you can discuss your organization's specific needs. SmartHotel is open for customization and can therefore convert standard interfaces to your way of working.
During this process you will set up the cooperation agreement and the onboarding will start.
During the onboarding, you will discuss the desired situation for your company and how SmartHotel can help. Based on this conversation, it will be determined what changes need to be made and whether existing integrations can be enriched with some new rules.
In the system of SmartHotel you will, together with your contact person, set up the listings with the desired restrictions. Availability and prices will be updated real time by the connection.
1. Setting up the channel
To be able to use the SmartCONNECT application, you need to create a channel that can be used for pairing.

Gear icon;
2. Under Channels, choose New;

Please note! SmartCONNECT works with the simple price lists based on Tour Operator settings.

5. Add the channel.
2. Installing the application
In order to install the application you need to have access to the App Store, in this case there will be a market stall at the top of your Booking Experts menu bar. If you don't have this yet, ask Support to activate the App Store for you.
1. Click on the icon for the
App Store;
2. Then choose the SmartCONNECT Application;

3. Click on
+
Install within the application;
4. Here you see an overview of what the application can see in your administration(s);
5. Choose the administration(s) for which this application is to be installed and click on Install;
6. Click Connect to make the connection;
7. Fill in the login details for SmartHotel;
8. The application has successfully been authorized, click on OK to continue;
