With the arrival of the App Store, the payment provider link with Mollie has been converted to an application. In this article we explain how you can install it for your own administration(s). 


1. Create an account

Do you want to properly handle online payments? Then work with Mollie. Mollie is characterized by its ease, speed and security when it comes to online payments. Within minutes you'll have an account set up and you'll be able to receive payments. Click here for more information on how to create an account.

2. Installing the application

In order to install the application you need to have access to the App Store, in this case there will be a market stall at the top of your Booking Experts menu bar. If you don't have this yet, ask Support to activate the App Store for you.

1. Click on the icon for the   App Store;
2. Then choose the  Mollie  Application;

3. Click on  +Install within the application;

4. Here you see an overview of what the application can see in your administration(s);

5. Choose the administration(s) for which this application is to be installed and click on Install;

6. The app is authorized. Click OK to continue.

The application was installed successfully! 🎉


3. Create and link payment provider app in Booking Experts

Once you have created an account with Mollie and installed the Mollie App, you can link it in Booking Experts. Per administration and currency you can link a separate payment provider app. To link a payment provider app you need to go through the following steps:
1. Go via the gear icon to the submenu Payment providers;
2. Click New to create a new link;
3. Select the Paymentprovider app;
4. Enter a Description for the payment provider app;
5. Select the Payment provider app (Mollie) created for this purpose;
6. Indicate whether this payment provider may be used for payments through the POS;
7. Choose, if available for POS, which payment method you want to use for this (ideally, create a new payment method for this);
8. Choose which invoices it applies to; 
9. Select the desired Payment Method for the payments;
10. Select the desired payment method for Chargebacks, leave empty to use the payment method for invoices;
11. Add the payment provider app;

12. If necessary, assign the payment provider app to the appropriate currency;


4. Refunds via Mollie in Booking Experts

For online payments and payments via the Mollie pinterminal, you can now initiate a refund which will be returned to the payer via Mollie. You can choose to refund all or part of the amount. 

How to start a refund?

1. Look up a Mollie payment (Pinterminal or online);

2. Select *Refund via Mollie* from the menu

3. Enter the amount to be refunded;

4. Click on create refund.

Mollie currently processes the refunds once a day.
