Receipt items & results

The submenus 'Receipt items' and 'Results' offer, among other things, insight into POS sales and revenues.

Receipt items

A receipt item is the information per product as presented on the receipt. All receipt items of all receipts are gathered in the 'Receipt items' menu. Your register counts will also be included in this overview as separate receipt items, which make the deposits to the safe visible. If the 'only not credited' checkbox is active, the receipt items that have been credited are filtered out of the overview.

Use the other filters to make a selection based on period, ledger account or VAT rate.

Change ledger account or VAT rate retroactively

Using the filters if necessary, you can select multiple receipt items. You can then change the linked ledger account or VAT rate of these items in bulk. This also applies to old receipt items, and even to register counts. The (filtered) overview can be exported via the button at the bottom right.

To protect your financial administration, receipt items (i.e., products) cannot be linked to standard ledger accounts.

Results

In the 'Results' submenu you will find an overview of how often a certain product has been sold, and what the total revenue is. You can filter by period. This is actually the same information as in the receipt items overview, but bundled per product. This gives you insight into which product is a bestseller, and which generates the most revenue. Based on this information, you may want to adjust your prices. Here too, you can export the data via the button at the bottom right.
