Cost and stock control
In Booking Experts, you can keep stock management for cost items. The cost item is then no longer bookable when the stock runs out or you receive an internal message about it so you can reorder what you need.
This can be very useful for children's furniture and bicycle rental, for example.
Price
On the price tab, you can enter stock when you have selected the price per item, price per item per night or price per stay type.
You can put a tick in the box stop selling when maximum stock is reached. Then the costs will no longer be displayed when the stock runs out.
If you uncheck this box, the cost item can still be added to the booking even if there is no more stock, but you will receive an internal message about the period in which there is a shortage.
You can also specify a maximum number per reservation. If you want a guest to be able to book a maximum of two cots, you can enter this here.
It can sometimes be better to buy an extra cot for a few tens of euros than to miss out on a reservation of a few hundred euros because of missing stock.
Viewing stock
In the Costs overview, you can see the stock by means of a graph.
This overview shows how often this cost item has been booked for the coming month, compared to the stock.
