Settlement methods
There are 4 different ways to settle with the owner, namely on departure, on arrival, with overlap, and on confirmation.
On departure
The settlement method on departure ensures that reservations are settled based on the departure date. If you make settlements from 1 September to 30 September, all Reservations with a departure date in September will be taken into account.
In case a reservation has not yet been checked out while the reservation end date is within the checkout period, the message (not yet checked out) will appear after the reservation number.
On arrival
The settlement method on arrival ensures that reservations are settled based on the arrival date. Under the checkout method, you can set the number of days you want to check out before arrival.
Say you want to settle with the owner 14 days before arrival. You make a settlement from 1 September to 30 September; this settles all reservations from 15 September to 14 October.
If a reservation is made with arrival within 14 days, it will not be included in this settlement. It will then have to be settled manually.
With overlap
If you want to settle the reservations proportionally over the settlement period with the owner, you can choose overlap. If you make a settlement from 1 September to 30 September and you have a Reservation from 29 September to 3 October, this will be split. First, the period from 29 September to 30 September will be settled. Then, on the next Settlements, the period from 1 October to 3 October will be settled.
On confirmation
The settlement method on confirmation ensures that reservations are settled on the date of confirmation. If you make a Settlement from 1 September to 30 September, all Reservations confirmed in September will be taken into account. This can therefore include reservations that do not stay until next year.
