Discount on owner's stay
Per agreement with an owner, you can determine the discount percentage over the rent that this owner receives on their own stay during certain periods.
It is possible to differentiate between the discount percentage in high and low season. You can also set a maximum number of nights for which an owner receives a discount.
You can set this discount in the owner's agreement. To do this, open the object and go to the Owners tab. Click new to create a new owner appointment or click the start date and then edit to make a change to an existing appointment.
Choose a discount percentage on the rent per period.
Example
Suppose you set the following discount rules:
- 100% discount on 14 nights in the high season
- 50% discount on all nights forever
This means the owner gets a 100% discount on 14 nights in high season. After that, the owner gets another 50% discount.
Suppose there are 3 reservations:
- 10 nights in high season. 100% discount on the rental.
- 7 nights in high season. 100% discount on 4 nights (14 - 10) and 50% discount on 3 nights.
- 7 nights in high season. 50% discount on 7 nights.
Note! Are you using a period group to set up an Owners discount in a certain period? Then create a new period group for each year and adjust the agreement. This prevents nights booked in the previous year from counting in the following year.
