The type groups you have created are not only useful when creating costs, discount actions, or packages. You can also use them for sending auto e-mails.
Do you have a number of holiday homes where guests have to use a key box during check-in? Then it is useful to create a type group for these holiday homes. You can then add a filter based on this type group when creating an auto e-mail. This way, e-mails about the use of a key box will only be sent to guests who actually need to use it.

Always select one type group for an auto email. This is because if you select multiple type groups for a car email, Booking Experts expects the reservation to be in both type groups. As this is never the case, the car e-mail will not be sent.
