Creating type groups
This support article is about type groups. Type groups can be used to set the settings for all these types in bulk, for example for costs, discount actions or auto-emails.
Creating type groups
You can group several types in advance. For example, think of grouping all large and all small types, or all mobile homes that belong to the holiday homes segment. To create a new type group, go to the submenu type groups. Here you can give the group a name and select the types that fall within this group. In the same way, you can delete the type group later.
Type groups are mainly used when creating a cost, discount action or package. You can then immediately select all rentals from the created type group under the 'Applicability' heading. This way, you don't have to click all the rentals individually each time.
To make the type groups visible within the 'Applicability' sections, you will have to create at least two of them. If you create only one type group, it will not be shown.
Type groups and statistics
Type groups are also excellent for analyzing your statistics. For example, do you want to know how often your holiday homes with sauna are booked compared to last year? Then you can filter by rental in the statistics submenu and select the right type group.
