BEX Payments
BEX Payments is a fully integrated payment provider that lets you receive online and in-person payments. BEX Payments has been developed by Booking Experts in collaboration with Mollie. By using Mollie's technology, security, stability and reliability are guaranteed. All card data is stored encrypted according to the international security standard PCI-DSS.
Important! The existing link with Mollie has been replaced by BEX Payments. New updates will therefore only be released on the BEX Payments app.
Installation
To use BEX Payments, install the app from the App Store. Then log in with your existing Mollie account or create a new Mollie account.
Make sure your account has admin or developer rights so you can give BEX Payments access to one or more Mollie organisations.
Once you have linked your Mollie organisation(s) with the BEX Payments app, you can specify which Booking Experts administration(s) should be linked for each Mollie organisation/website profile.
Payment methods
BEX Payments supports payment methods from all over the world. These include: Credit card, iDeal, PayPal, Apple Pay, Bancontact, SOFORT, Giropay, EPS, KBC/Belfius, PostePay, Przelewy24, SEPA transfer.
Thanks to the seamless integration, active payment methods are automatically created in your Booking Experts administration. Read more about payment methods here.
These payment methods are configurable by debtor type. For example, you can set whether each payment method is valid for reservations, owners and channels.
Integration with the checkout portal in BEX CMS
BEX Payments is integrated with the checkout portal. Because BEX Payments is fully integrated into the booking flow, online booking becomes even easier for your guests and you'll notice that in your conversion rates....
Your guests select the desired payment method in Booking Experts and are redirected to Mollie's payment page. Within a few clicks, the payment is completed.
In-person payments
BEX Payments also supports in-person payments. Right now, you order your PIN terminal in your Mollie account. As soon as the PIN terminal is activated, it is automatically created as a payment method in Booking Experts. Link the payment method to one or more cash registers and start receiving in-person payments. Read more about pin terminals here.
Invoice
The transaction fees are invoiced by Booking Experts. These costs are deducted from the payout and therefore you never have to transfer them yourself.
The payment takes place daily, weekly or monthly and is carried out by Mollie. Hence you will see Mollie instead of BEX Payments on the bank statement.
