Customise, restore and deactivate message templates

Message templates can be customised to your liking. For example, it is possible to change the greeting from dear to best.

Edit message template

To edit a message template, go to Templates and click on the template you want to edit. Then click edit. See the article Tags for auto emails and Templates for all the different tags that can be used. Here you can see the different greeting options under the heading Booking. Copy the tag you wish to add and replace the tag already in the template.

Furthermore, you can adjust all texts between the tags as you wish.

Note: The text between the brackets are tags that extract data from the system. It is therefore important not to make any changes to the text between the corresponding brackets!

Restore message template

Have you accidentally removed tags, you can restore a message template. To do this, go to the template and click restore. The template is then reset to its basic settings.

Did you accidentally click restore? You can find and copy the template settings in the staging environment on the same day.

Disable and enable message templates

When you don't want to use a message template, you can disable it by unchecking the template. Of course, you can turn it back on if you want to use the template again.
