WiFi-Ticket App

The WiFi Ticket App allows you to link Booking Experts to your WiFi ticket system. In this article, we explain how to install it for your own administration(s).

Installation

To install the application, you must have access to the App Store. A market stall will appear at the top of your Booking Experts menu bar in this case.

Don't see the App Store Icon? You might not have the proper access rights. In this article we talk about permissions and access.

Once in the App Store you can search for the "WiFi-Ticket" app. You can add the application to your Booking Experts interface. On the next screen you get an overview on what this application has access to in your administration(s). Below, you can choose which administration you would like to install WiFi-Ticket to. This will send you to the website of WiFi-Ticket. Here you have two options:

  • Log in with your existing WiFi-Ticket account
  • Fill out a contact request to become a customer

Once logged in, you can fill in the required information.

Choose and set up the working method

WiFi-ticket can be offered in two ways, for both ways you and your contact person at WiFi-ticket need to adjust the settings in the WiFi-ticket system.

A guest has to pay to use the WiFi-ticket system

In case a guest has to pay for using the WiFi ticketing system and accessing it, you should create a cost and set the type to "Internet. Based on this charge, the WiFi-ticket system will receive notification that Internet has been purchased and access will be emailed to the guest. The moment the guest checks out, access to the WiFi ticketing system is then also stopped.

A guest can use the WiFi ticket system free of charge

If a guest can use the WiFi ticketing system and access for free, you need to set this up with your contact at the WiFi ticketing system. The WiFi-ticket system is notified when a confirmed reservation comes in that day and sends the guest access by email. The moment the guest is checked out, access to the WiFi ticketing system is then also stopped.

WiFi-Ticket e-mail

WiFi-ticket will prepare an email for you. If you want to make changes to this email, you need to discuss this with your contact person at WiFi-ticket. The email will be sent at a time of your choosing.

Would you like your guests to be able to use the Internet as early as 9 a.m., while check-in is at 11 a.m., so they can already use the facilities at your park? Then arrange this with your contact at WiFi-ticket.

If a guest reserves internet during their stay, it may take up to 5 minutes to receive the email with access.

Many settings are made on the side of WiFi-ticket. Therefore, it is important that you go over your requirements carefully with your contact person.
