Troubleshooting Expedia error codes

When using the Expedia app integration, it may happen that you receive notifications containing an error code when something goes wrong. If you have received an Expedia error message, you can check the code and its solution here.

Error code Error text Solution
3123 Length of stay must be provided for the rate plans with LOS enabled Make sure there is an LOS (Length of stay) set for your rate plan with an LOS pricing model. Then, try again.
3124 Length of stay attribute can only be set on rate plans with LOS enabled You cannot set an LOS (Length of stay) for a rate plan with a different pricing model. Please correct this, then try again.
3142 Rate plan does not match the property acquisition type - Rate plan "__" does not match acquisition type The rate plan your type is linked to in Booking Experts, does not match the rate plan your type is linked to in Expedia. These must align. You can make a change in either Booking Experts or Expedia, and then try again.
3202 Property ID not found. Either an invalid ID was specified or the account is not linked to this property The hotel ID does not exist, or Booking Experts is not the channel manager. Check if you have linked your existing Expedia administration correctly with Booking Experts.
3203 The following RoomTypeIDs do not belong to the given property: room_type_ID Your types are linked to the wrong hotel ID, or the wrong types are linked to your hotel ID. Please correct this, then try again.
3204 The following RatePlanIDs do not belong to the given property: rate_plan_ID Your types are linked to the wrong hotel ID, or the wrong types are linked to your hotel ID. Please correct this, then try again.
7009 Occupancy exceeds maximum allowed value The maximum number of persons you tried to update exceeds the maximum occupancy set in Expedia. Please correct this, then try again.
7010 Room type cannot be closed because there is base allocation remaining on the room Your type will remain available on Expedia until all base allocation is sold. For assistance, contact your Expedia market manager.
