Block
On a page, you can highlight something in any place. This is often done using a block to link to external pages. Do you want to link internally? Then take a look at the article on Placement.
Adding a block
You can add a block to a page by pressing the green + sign in the column where you want the illumination. Then select the 'Block' widget.
Set block
- Give the block a title and/or subtitle.
- You can automatically show/don't show a widget when you give it a date. Read the support article on the Publish and Unpublish date for more information.
- At URL, enter the link you want to point to.
- Choose whether you want the URL to open in a new tab or not.
Tip: Want guests to stay on your site? Then choose to open the URL in a new tab.
- Then optionally add a description.
- For media item, add an image.
Note: when adding an image, you should always tag it under media item description.
- Then choose the variant. This is the representation of the block where you can choose from several options.
- In Show for locales, select in which languages the block is visible.
- Then click save and press preview to view the result.
