Material costs and hourly rates

When carrying out todos, material is used, equipment is replaced, or labour costs are incurred. You can keep track of these by setting costs for todos. This makes it possible for executors and administrators to register the required time and materials per todo. You can also invoice the owner for costs resulting from todos.

Setting material costs and hourly rate

Go to the 'Costs' submenu in the todos module. Click '+New' and choose the type, 'material costs' or 'hourly rate'. Give it a clear name, determine the price, and link the correct general ledger account.

Material costs are cost items with a fixed value, for example a garden lamp for 30 euros. You can also give frequently occurring services a fixed value by setting them as material costs, for example "Unclogging toilet" for 50 euros.

An hourly rate is a cost item that, in combination with an entered timesheet, determines the labor costs of a todo. It is possible to create several hourly rates.

Apply hourly rate in todo list

When editing or creating a new todo list, you can link one hourly rate. This hourly rate applies to all registered timesheets within this todo list.
