Importing and exporting prices
In Booking Experts, you can enter price lists by importing.
Download CSV file
Open the price lists for which you want to download a CSV file. Click on the prices tab and choose the import button. At step 1, you can download the CSV sample file.
Filling the CSV file
In the CSV file, you can see an example of how to fill the file.
- Under date, enter the date of the price you want to add.
- At length of stay, enter the number of nights for which the price is valid.
- In the column active, enter a 1 if the price should be active and a 0 if the price should be inactive.
- In the price column, enter the price. If you enter a price for 3 nights, enter the total price for 3 nights here, not the nightly price.
- Save the file.
Do not use 0 prices to make a period unbookable, otherwise this will result in a free stay.
Upload CSV file
When you have filled the CSV file, you can upload it via the same import button. You do this in step 2 of the import. Via choose file, find the right file and click upload.
Exporting prices
Prices can also be exported. You can use this if you want to modify an existing price list or share it with another party. You can also use the export function for quickly deactivating or activating price lists. To export the price lists, open the price lists and click on the prices tab. Then click on the export button.
Note!Are you exporting an existing price list and want to add prices for the next year? Then leave the prices from the past, at least the current year. Otherwise, these prices will be overwritten and you will lose them.
