Taking over a reservation
It may happen that you receive a phone call from a guest who is not able to complete the booking via the website. You can assist this guest by taking over the reservation via the Booking portal. This can be done in two ways.
- Click the blue date & time link in the Dashboard or in the Booking portal to go to the online Search & Book and take over the reservation there. You then complete the booking via the website, on behalf of the guest.
- In the Booking portal overview, you can also click the three dots in the 'Actions' column and choose 'Take over'. This way, a reservation is immediately created with the data known up to that point. You can then add and adjust data on the reservation page until you are ready to confirm the reservation and send the invoice to the guest.
You can only take over an incomplete reservation if it is made via your own website.
