Charging VCCs

In Booking Experts, you can easily charge Virtual Credit Cards (VCCs) from Booking.com and Expedia.

To be able to use VCCs, the payment handling for these apps must be set to Advertiser Collect, and you must have activated the BEX payments credit card payment method.

Follow these steps:

  1. Reservation: open the ‘Reservations’ tab and find the relevant reservation.
  2. VCC details: In the payment overview of the reservation, you will find the VCC details and the date from which you can charge the card.
  3. Channel invoice check: Check that the amount on the channel invoice matches the amount of the VCC.
  4. Charge VCC: Click the 'Charge now' button, and a new page will open. Here you will see whether the payment has been successfully charged.

When charging a VCC, you may receive an error message that says your Mollie Profile does not have the right Category Code. To solve this, please contact Mollie Support.
