Periods in discounts

When creating a discount, you must use two period groups to indicate when the discount can be booked and when it is valid. If you book in the period [period group A], you get the discount on overnight stays that begin during the period [period group B].

Period group A determines when the website visitor can book a stay with this discount. This is when the discount is available for booking.

Period group B determines when the guest can stay with this discount. The first night of a reservation must fall within this validity period in order to be able to apply the discount.

Even if the reservation meets all other conditions in the discount settings, if the first night of the reservation is outside the validity period in Period group B, the guest will not receive this discount.
