Pool points and budget for own use and blocked periods
Pools work by awarding points for booked days. For each pool, you can decide whether to deduct points for blocked periods or reservations made by the owner. You can do this when creating or editing a pool, in the Owners module, under 'Pools'.
Through the owner portal, an owner can reserve the object for themselves, or add a blocked period for maintenance. You can choose whether you want to deduct points for these blocked periods and/or owner reservations when calculating the pool settlements.
Last-minute for owner
Additionally, it is possible to cancel the deduction of points for owner reservations if such a reservation is made last-minute, in which case the object would otherwise probably have remained empty. The number of days before the reservation (the last-minute window) can be freely determined.
The last checkbox on this page determines whether the profit earned through an owner-reservation is paid to the owner themselves in full, or rather shared according to the pool system.
Points budget for owner
For each owner with a pool agreement, you can allocate a points budget. The owner can use this budget for owner-reservations.
To set this up, go to the owner agreement of an owner who already has a pool commission agreement. Click 'Edit', and you'll see that under the heading 'Own stay' there are two options. 'Stay with discount', and 'Stay with pool points'. When you choose this second option, you can set this owner's points budget for a specific period.
How much points an owner is charged for their own reservation, depends on the value of the reservation (points per day) that has been determined in the commission agreement.
