Import and export vouchers
Are you making the switch to Booking Experts and taking vouchers with you from your old reservation system? If so, you can import them into Booking Experts.
Go to your Administration settings, and choose 'Imports' in the right menu. At the top right of the page, click '+New', and then choose 'Vouchers import'. Here, you can upload a CSV file with the data of the vouchers you want to import. To ensure that the data are read properly, please also fill out the other information this page asks for.
For a smooth import process, give your columns in the CSV file the right names. For example:
Issue amount - Currency - Expires at - Email address - Balance - Created
Export
It is also possible to export the issued vouchers in 1 file. To do this, go to the 'Reservations' tab and choose 'Vouchers' in the right menu. At the bottom right, you'll find the 'Export' button. Use it to download an export file with the following data:
- The masked voucher code;
- The reservation number on which the voucher was issued;
- Arrival and departure date of the original reservation;
- The date of cancellation;
- The reason for cancellation;
- The total voucher amount spent;
- Outstanding voucher amount;
- The name of the guest;
- The e-mail address of the guest
