Void the voucher and give the guest a refund

If you still want to refund a guest afterwards you have 2 options for this.

Revert cancellation

For the first option you have to work from a cancelled reservation. The first step is to undo the cancellation at the top of the reservation. Then the payment status is restored. Then you can use the three dots under the heading 'Payment status' to add a payment with the guest's voucher code. Then you cancel the reservation again and instead of creating another voucher, you pay the guest back as you normally did.

+ Refund

Additionally, it is possible to process a + Refund on the reservation in question and then post the voucher on that same reservation. Choose + Refund in the payment status and enter the amount you want to refund to your guest. Then choose the payment method you want to use and use the same method you are going to refund the guest.

Be careful which payment method you use! Do you want to refund the guest in cash? Then add a refund under payment method cash. Do you want to refund the guest via PIN? Then choose a refund under payment method PIN.

Add the payment by clicking 'Save'. Now the payment is not complete, the amount of your voucher is still missing. Click on the three dots and choose 'Redeem voucher' and enter the corresponding code. This way, the payment has been made; the guest has been refunded via the preferred payment method and the vouchers have been redeemed.
