Label reservation and leave note

As a user, you can label a reservation, for example, because it needs something prepared for arrival. For example, a guest might have something to celebrate for which you want to prepare something in the property. Tagging reminds you of this. The corresponding label also appears in the overview of reservations and you can even filter by it.

Add label to a reservation

Open the reservation you want to add a label to. Decide whether you want to add the label to the guest or to the reservation. If you choose to add a label to the guest, it will appear on every reservation. If you choose a reservation label then it will only apply to that reservation. Click the pencil icon behind labels and choose the label you need.

Is the label you want to add not yet in the list? You can add it here.

Leave notes

You can use notes to write down something specific about a reservation, object, a guest or what is important for your colleagues to know.

Within Booking Experts, you can leave an internal note in various places using a memo block. You can do this in a reservation, guest card, owner, channel, invoice and in a task.

The memo field is always visible at the above mentioned places at the bottom of your screen. The field is always visible if the option is available. You don't need to adjust a module or setting for this yourself first.

By clicking on the upward arrow, you can make the field larger and add a longer text to it or read a longer text in full. You can also use this arrow to make the field smaller again.

Always choose Save to save a note. To keep it clear who added a note and when, we always recommend noting the date and your initials. This is because notes are not logged and therefore do not show up in the last actions.

Please note: this field is for internal use only. Guests and/or owners will not see it reflected in Booking Experts. When a guest or owner invokes their right to inspection (they can then view the personal data), the notes will be included.
