Update reservation
In Booking Experts, you have the option to update the reservation order. You have the choice to do this for the cost items or for the rent and cost items. Using the 'Actualize' button in the order you can generate an overview of the new Costs. This way you have an immediate overview of whether you are missing out on income and whether the guest's order is still current.
The 'Actualize' button is useful when the Reservation is no longer up-to-date, looking at the current settings. If the order is up to date, this button is not useful.
Updating Costs.
As soon as you press the 'Actualize' button, you can immediately see for which Costs a different price is calculated. This is useful when, for example, you have increased mandatory Costs, such as tourist tax or environmental levy.
Have you increased the price of a cost item in the meantime? Then look carefully at what this does to the order and whether you want to bill it on.
Have you adjusted several cost items? It is not possible to update single cost items. All cost items are updated using this method.
Update rent
You also have the possibility to update the rent. This is useful when, for example, you see that prices have increased or decreased and you want to pass this on or give it back to the guest. By checking the box 'Update the rent as well' the rent will also be included.
