Actualizing the reservation order

All reservations have an order that lists the rent and cost items and their prices. This order does not automatically change if cost item settings are edited, or the rental price is increased or decreased.

In the 'Order' block of a reservation, you can click the 'Actualize' button to update the cost items of this reservation. This opens a pop-up, where you can choose to also update the rent price.

If the 'Actualize' button is greyed out, the order is up-to-date according to the current settings.

Overview of changes

As soon as you press the 'Actualize' button, you will see an overview of the order showing possible price changes. This way you can see if you are missing out on any income.

It is a good idea to update orders if, for example, you have implemented an increase in mandatory cost items such as tourist tax or environmental tax.

The displayed changes are implemented only if you click the 'Actualize' button again in the pop-up.

It is not possible to update certain cost items, and not update others. If you choose to actualize the order, all cost items on the order will be updated.

New confirmation and invoice

If the reservation was already confirmed before updating the order, the guest must be informed of the changes. The guest may already have paid part of the bill. At the top of the reservation page, you'll see a notification to resend the confirmation and/or invoice.
