Types of packages

When first creating the package, you have the choice of several package types. Each type contains a composition of costs, of which the pricing may be adjusted.

With discount on rent

This allows you to include a percentage-based discount on the rent itself. You can set a minimum and a maximum number of nights for which this package is valid.

Without discount on rent

This type does not offer a direct discount on the rent. You can link a coupon code to this type of package. This coupon code may be applied by the guest or your backoffice. Packages with a coupon code are not explicitly visible on the website, because the target audience of this package is reached by disseminating the coupon code. If you choose not to link a coupon code, the package does become visible among the packages on your website.

Fixed period

This allows you to set exact dates for the applicability of this package. You provide a specific start and end date, which ensures this package is only valid for reservations with those arrival and departure dates. This could be used for a Saturday to Saturday package during a school holiday, for example. This package also applies a total price, as explained below.

Fixed total price

This allows you to set an all-in price for the package, with variations for different object types or type groups if required. Because you set a fixed total price for the entire stay, the collected rent amount is dependent on the total cost of the added cost items (rent amount = total price - cost items). When adding the cost items, pay attention to the 'addition' checkbox.

Without discount on rent, to settle on arrival

This option is the same as the 'Without discount on rent' package type, except that the costs of the package are not immediately charged. Instead, your guests pay upon arrival.
