Auto email filters
When setting up an auto email, you can use filters to determine which reservations will receive the email, and which ones will not. Multiple filters can be used at the same time. Below, you'll find explanations of the filters used most often.
Channel
Here you can filter guests who have booked via a specific channel. This can be an external channel, but also an internal channel such as 'Own website' or 'Owners'. You can also use this filter to exclude channels.
It is not possible to filter two or more channels by adding them as 'Channel is'. It is possible to exclude multiple channels as 'Channel is not', so the same effect can be achieved by elimination.
Payment status
The 'payment status' filter has the options 'is' and 'is not' in combination with 'fully paid' and 'payable'. For example, you can send an email to all reservations that have already paid their bill in full (is / fully paid), or to the reservations that still need to pay (is / payable).
Language
You can address or exclude guests based on the language indicated in the reservation
Guest group
When filtering on guest group, you can address or exclude 1 or more guest categories. This can help you make a specific offer to reservations with adolescents, or exclude reservations with pets.
Length of stay
Here you can filter by reservations that stay more or less than X number of nights. For example, you can send an email to only the guests who stay for just one day, or only the guests with a long stay of several weeks.
Stay period
Here you can filter by reservations that partially or fully match the period groups in your reservation system. This filter is used to reach guests who are staying or stayed in a specific period.
Review
If you ask your guests to leave a review and these are registered in your reservation system, you can send a follow-up email based on the given review.
Segment / Type group / Type / Object
Filter based on the type of object that has been booked, from an entire segment to a specific object. You can also make combinations by, for example, choosing a certain segment, but excluding one of the types that fall under it.
Booked extra
By filtering based on booked extra, you can send guests with a specific extra more information about it, or send guests who have not booked a certain extra a message to encourage them to do so.
Booked package
You can also send an auto email to guests who have booked a specific package.
Coupon code / Discount
Send an auto email to guests who have booked using a specific coupon code or discount.
