Auto email filters

When creating an auto email, you can use different filters. These filters allow your organisation to reach a specific target group.

In the auto email module, we offer the following filter options:

Period

The Period filter focuses on filtering by period groups, you as an organisation can set these period groups yourself. This filter is mainly used to reach guests who are staying and/or have stayed in a specific period.

Period of stay

Filtering by period of stay is a filter that can be used for Guests who stay for x number of nights. Some information may only be of interest when someone stays for at least a week, or conversely, when they only stay for a day.

Minimum number of visits to park

The filter Minimum number of visits is used to target customers who return repeatedly. You sometimes want to send these Guests an extra message to alert them to a special promotion or Packages.

Minimum number of parks visited

This filter helps to send Auto emails to guests who have stayed at multiple holiday parks within one organisation. This allows you to target a guest who returns more often, but does not always stay at the same location.

Type group

There are situations in which it is useful to group certain types, for example all large types or the smaller types. For example, when creating a Costs, Action or Packages, you can immediately select a group of Types and do not have to select each specific accommodation.

It is not possible to enter multiple Type groups. If you want to mail several type groups simultaneously, it is only possible by creating 1 type group. It is possible to exclude several Type groups.

Reservation label

Through this filter, you can reach specific reservations that you have labelled. For example, you could choose to send all reservations with the label 'young family' a specific car email.

Rental label

Through this filter, you can reach specific reservations on objects you have labelled. For example, you could choose to send a specific car email to all guests staying at an object labelled 'by the water'.

Channel

It is important in some cases to target Guests from a specific channel. This filter can be used to highlight a special offer for customers who have booked through a specific channel.

It is not possible to have multiple channels in Channels. You can only enter one channel for a Reservation. However, you can exclude multiple channels by entering channel is not Booking.com and is not Owners, for example.

Booked Cost

It is also possible to only approach guests who have added a specific cost item. This is useful if you want to provide the guest with extra information about the cost item.

Booked Package

You can also send a car e-mail to guests who have booked a specific package.

Number of

Filtering on numbers can help you make a very specific target group a specific offer or draw their attention to conditions that only apply to them. Under number, it is possible to filter by number of adults, youngsters, children, babies and pets.

Arrival

Many organisations want to inform Guests before their arrival and stay about, among other things, the route and other information relevant to their stay. The arrival filter exists for that purpose, with this filter you can choose to send reservations an e-mail before their arrival.

Departure

The departure filter is useful, for example, when Guests are about to leave. You can alert these people the method of check-out or wish them a safe journey. This filter can also be used to send guests an extra mail a few days after their departure in which you thank them for their stay with your organisation.

Reservation date

You can choose to send additional information after reservation, and before arrival. For example, would you like to send the visitor an extra thank you for booking? Then you could use the filter to send an auto email 1 day after making the Reservation.

Fully paid guest invoice

You can also exclude unpaid reservations by choosing the fully paid guest invoice filter.
