Owners and periodic Costs (invoicing)

Periodic Costs can be charged to Owners (annual invoices). Think of park charges and garden maintenance costs. You also process annual pitch holders in Booking Experts as Owners. Costs for annual pitches can also be charged in this way.

Create standard periodical costs

The periodical costs must first be created before they can be charged to an owner. You can read more about this here.

Link owner to recurring expense items

After the recurring expense items have been created, it is necessary to link them to an owner. You can link a periodic expense item to an owner via the Owners Agreements. You can read more about this in this article.

Creating a periodic invoice

If the periodic expense items have been assigned to an owner, then an invoice can be created. How? You can read about that here.

Skip periodic expenses

Would you like to temporarily not charge an expense item to the owner, but charge it again at a later time? Then you can choose to skip the periodic expense item. The expense item will then appear in the overview of the skipped periodicals. The expense item will be saved and will only be skipped for the specified period. Read here how to skip a periodic expense item.

Periodic expense items adjusted period

If you choose to charge periodic expenses, you have the option of selecting an adjusted period for one (or more) periodic expense items. This option is interesting for recurring cost items with an annual amount, because one amount is set for the whole year. This option allows you to split the annual amount into (multiple) parts and invoice them. To set this up, read this article.

Expected periodic cost items invoice

When creating the owner, you can specify when the owner should receive the first invoice and whether he pays it in advance.

For example, is the date of the first invoice on 01-04? Then you will see a notification on 01-04 every year in the Expected periodic invoices overview.

Overview of agreements/periodic costs per owner

You can export the agreements of all owners. This way you can immediately see the periodic costs per owner. To do so, go to the Owners module. In the right-hand menu, click Agreements. At the bottom right of the screen, click Export.
