How to create a voucher

Create a new voucher

You create a voucher from the canceled reservation. Navigate to the desired reservation, for example using the planboard or the search bar at the top right. Open the reservation and process the cancellation, but leave the appropriate amount open. At the top right of the reservation you will see that a refund needs to be made. If no invoice has been created yet, click the 'Create Invoice' button first. After that you have the option to create a voucher using the 'Voucher issue' button. You will then be given the option to have Booking Experts automatically generate a code or to enter a code manually.

Make sure not to use a simple code such as: Vacation Park1, Holiday Park2, Holiday Park3, etc. Malicious guests can potentially β€œguess” codes and thus make free reservations. The codes created by Booking Experts are difficult to guess. Therefore, we recommend using them. However, you can use your own codes if you have previously created them outside Booking Experts.

Notification

You can send a notification of the voucher to the guest. You can find the attached email in the templates under the Other administration settings. Good to know is that the voucher will be made unrecognizable after sending the voucher. If you have all rights, then you can view this voucher. Then the guest can redeem the voucher with you.
