Reservation with preference
When a Reservation is entered through the back office and the guest has a preference for a specific property, you can book this preferred Reservation. Based on your settings, the guest may pay an extra fee for this preferred booking.
To calculate extra costs for a preferential reservation, you need to create a Cost item. More information on this can be found here.
When making the Reservation, you indicate that it is a preferential reservation by checking the box ‘Guest has specifically chosen this object’.
It is also possible to convert an existing Reservation to a Preferred Reservation. To do so, open the Reservation and click the pencil icon behind the accommodation. Then tick the box ‘Guest has specifically chosen this object’.
A drawing pin indicates that the reservation has been booked with a preference. The drawing pin is shown in both the Reservation and the Planboard.
